That was if you were moving to another game card.

For example: your sibling makes a character on your game, then for Christmas gets their own DS+Game, they could then move their character from your game to their new one.

o.. interesting... but i think Nintendo coulda made it so i could ( i aculy think just adding a town and better graphics and stuff was enough i hope they have a big update sooner or later
