Well, that's disappointing. I guess Nintendo doesn't want to be held responible for children actually eating rotten fruit in real-life.

Still it would've been funny to see how the player would react after eating it.

I think they would just do the shrug information. On an average late night, the player gets stung by a scorpion! So this is nothing.

Eating would be too cheap and easy! They gave us all these garbage cans to use, so they needed more things to put in those.
