I'm in the process of terraforming, but I'm also working on my interior as well. Gives me something to work on - if I stuck on terraforming, then it gives me a chance to focus on my house; if I got nothing for my house, then I'm inspired to work on terraforming!

Anyways, I originally had the idea of a living room as the main room, an upstairs bedroom, a kitchen in the back, a bathroom on the left side, a garden/study on the right, and laundry or magical room for the basement. Recently, I have upstairs as the kitchen/living room and the basement as the bedroom/laundry, and NOW I'm wanting an outside bathroom. At this point, I have no clue as to what I should have these rooms.

I do want a magical, witchy room and I know I want a bedroom and kitchen. But the laundry room, I might move outside, and the garden I might keep. Does anyone have any ideas for what I can do with my rooms?

Can't wait until I have more rooms available to me, so I can be in this exact dilemma :D

One idea that I may explore is keeping the upstairs either as a studio apartment (since it's so large). Or a dual purpose room at least... like a bedroom/bathroom or bedroom/creative workshop etc... so to essentially free up more of the downstairs rooms and basement to dedicate to specific things...

Love your idea for making the basement something super themed :D

i had a garden room but then I made myself a deck for all of it outside my house. lol
All of mine are still WIP, but the general idea is...

my character house
main - living area, workshop. pets corner, etc.
west - bedroom in blk, teal, white
north - kitchen
east - fish bathroom
upstairs - cute, pastel bedroom with the manga library wall. =3
basement - vintage/antique library & study

"hotel" manager house
main - reception, gym, lobby
west - guest room
north - employee room
east - guest room
upstairs - cafe
basement - occult/dark room (... island has a bit of a lil secret...)

faye creature house
different garden/nature

See, I originally wanted to do that! I didn't want to fully upgrade my house; I planned on expanding and then adding in a left room as the bathroom and that would've been it. Except, the game forces the back room, so I just went ahead and upgraded all the way.

If I were to have the upstairs as a studio apartment, then that leaves me with all the other rooms, rooms that I've yet to fully decide on. It'd just be too big to work in a studio/1-bedroom apartment styled house.

I'm also thinking about adding in more player houses, although I'm not sure if it'll just be regular houses or if I want to go for something like a cafe/hotel/restaurant/etc. That one I'm not in a hurry to decide on. A fish bathroom, though? That sounds so cool! I think it'd be a neat feature to have - I wish we can do similar designs like the butterfly room & aquarium! I hate placing down a butterfly and seeing just how cramped it is, especially if it's huge!
