Rocks... How have you dealt with them?

In my first town, some of them are interfering with my paths and I can't find any other solution to them...
But in my second town, I put paths around it, so as to make it look like it's in the center and you have to go around them. The others, I think I'll try to incorporate them so the areas around the rocks will give off a 'natural' feel to it.

Hmm... i only have maybe 2 rocks that I feel are in the way. One by the town hall and another down south btwn retail and the plaza. Other then that i'm pretty happy with my rock placements.

I have 7 rocks in my town and there are 4 that are pretty close but they dont really bother me that much because you can squeeze in a path between them but they do get in the way of wanting to plant trees/bushes to line the path. So I just put flowers next to them instead of bushes or just leave space.

I personally am one to reset my town until I am completely satisfied. I am willing to work around some rocks, aka the ones that are necessary near the plaza, station, and town hall, but sometimes there are some in completely absurd places and I wouldn't be willing to give up my idea for it.

Kudos to those who can work around them all.

I have like 8, for the most part they aren't in extremely inconvenient spots, there's maybe one or two I wish weren't there, but they aren't that big of a deal.

Honestly, I just try to work with them, if one's in the way of a path then that's how it's gonna be. I mean they're a feature of your town so you just gotta do what you can.

I have 3 rocks on my top of the map, I try to change my path to avoid it or put some flowers around it :]

None of mine get in the way of my paths (and I have a lot too, trust me), and it's nice to get some Bells, insects, and ore out of them

I don't have too many, and the ones I do have don't get in the way of paths. I just put flowers around them and pretend they're not there.

I just worked around them. My town really isn't that developed, so they were never really a problem anyway.

Means that a town must have at least 4 rocks - but I don't know the max - I think I read somewhere/sometime ago that the max was 10??? Don't quote me.
