Retro Revivals

Seems like retro revivals are the new craze in gaming, with Wii games such as A Boy and His Blob, Punch out, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii. And on Wiiware there is Mega Man, Sonic, Contra, Castlevania, Earthworm Jim and countless other series.

What I'd like to know is what classic games series would you like to see revived? This can be realistic or not. The game series I'd like to see make a comeback is the Donkey Kong Country series.

The Mother series, too bad it's never going to be continued. Mother 3's ending pretty much ended the whole Mother series in total, but it would be amazing to see a Mother 4.

I highly doubt that Banjo & Kazooie would ever return to a Nintendo console, since Rare owns the copyrights.

I'd like to see a 3D Kirby. It's been over a decade since Kirby 64.

Kirby 64 was an amazing game. Best one out there. It was so innovative.

It'd be awesome to see a new Star Fox game. Then again, it could be another nightmare to see a new Star Fox game. Assault and Command were horrid, and the new Kingdom Hearts-style for the characters ruined the style for Brawl. (Though, Command's style was pretty bad itself.)

They need to get someone other than Rare (which won't be happening, since Microsoft took them hostage with Bungie), Konami, or Namco. They all make pretty bad games nowadays (except Rare, who was pretty good), and have killed the quality of the series. It should be developed by Nintendo, I'd think.
And the next game certainly better not have another Andross revival.

Another great series that really needs a new game is Kirby. Whatever happened to that GameCube and Wii game that's loooooong overdue?

The 3D Megaman series, I had a lot of fun with the one on Nintendo64. (I cant remember the name of it)
