Hello all!

So I have had my game for almost a year and have played a bit. I've got most of the big Main Street PWPs and everything seems okay - I like my animals and my town is okay.

But for some reason... there's this niggling thing at the back of my mind that's making me want to reset my town! And every time I play I just feel like I should, even though I don't see anything wrong with my town. I would hate to lose my items and some of my animals, but I still think about it heaps and I don't know what I should do.

Have any of you ever felt like this? What did you do? Has anyone ever regretted resetting?

Thank you so much,

Jess

i feel you , i absolutely love my town . it has the villagers and items i love , Rosie Beau , Lopez , etc . I've worked my butt off to make the perfect town and gain 50million bells .

but what bothers me the most is my native fruits and my layout . 3 ponds near the train station , the plaza is in the corner , town hall in the middle , rocks in path ways , and regretful place to put my campsite . but its your game so you should make your own decision c:

Yup! I restarted my game after a few months into the game; I disliked the general map set up and most of my villagers were butts. I restarted.. 9.. or 14 times (restarting w/o saving) till I found a suitable map! You could say I am content with how everything is now even tho I'm endlessly moving things around and changing paths... If you're feeling it I say take the risk, find your perfect map, the game will be more fun in the end.

Why do you want to reset? Are you unhappy with your map or something, or just bored?

If you're just bored, you can try to change things in your town a bit. I've thought about resetting before, but when I feel that way, I always just change things up and it works. I start decorating my town more or change what I already have, try to get new villagers, change my character's look, things like that. It makes your town feel different while still being the same town.

If the game itself seems boring, you could take a break or try to work towards some goals. Finish your museum, collect more badges, complete your catalogue, try to get all the PWPs you want... there's so much to do in this game. :)

It's fine if you end up really wanting to reset, especially if you can get someone to hold your villagers and items for you, but think about it carefully. Sometimes it might make things more enjoyable when you play your game, but sometimes you might end up missing your old town!
