I recently updated my residential area which took some time but still don't feel entirely happy with it. I have one raised level area blocked out for six houses. The remaining 4 houses are some of my favourite villagers and are over towards the resident services town square area. Initially I had been apprehensive to cluster the houses together but this does seem from what I have seen really effective in terms of space and additional terraforming.
I am looking for ideas on residential areas, pictures and maps greatly appreciated. I am still in two minds as to whether I want to cluster everything together or would prefer to keep individually defined areas.
