This past Saturday one of my residents, Hazel, seemed to get sort of stuck in the Plaza at KK's show. This had happened once before with a different resident months ago and I figured it was a one off sort of thing. Now it's happened again. Poor Hazel was in the exact same spot next to KK for 2 hours! She didn't even turn around to face a different direction. The only movement she made was to take out her net at one point but other than that she stayed right in place. I had to shut down for dinner and when I came back she was in her house. It still seemed odd to me that she stood there for so long. Has this happened to any of your residents? Thanks!

This happens a lot to my villagers who watch KK or walks across the plaza so I just push them away from the plaza and they start moving again. It’s probably a problem with the coding of the game itself causing them to be stuck in the plaza.

I thought about pushing hazel but I've been working hard on getting her photo and I know pushing your residents can lower your friendship with them so I was hesitant to push her. I'm glad to know that works though in case someone else gets stuck & I need them to move.

Reloading your game swaps your villagers around. That's how I reshuffle them on K.K. days anyway, since they sit for so long and remain ungiftable...

That’s what I thought at first but It seems like they’re not themselves when they’re stuck with KK so no matter how much you push them within the plaza they don’t get mad. But, if you’re worried you can just push for a bit, stop a couple of seconds then push them again.

My villages do the same thing on my island, I just use the camera on the Nookphone to push them or use emotes at them.

this happened to me for the first time on Saturday too! Flurry was stood next to a stool and no matter where I pushed her she'd remain in the same position and didn't start walking or anything

I normally have to stop playing throughout the day to adult (bleh) so I noticed shutting down swapped the villagers who were seated around KK. I'm glad they do switch out so we can give them gifts.

I'm glad to hear it seems that in this stuck state that pushing them doesn't effect friendship. If someone gets stuck again I'll push them to get them moving again. Thank you for the info!

I hadn't thought of using the camera. The first time this happened I did try an emote but they still didn't move. I hope I remember to try the camera if this happens again. Thank you!

I wonder why she didn't start walking after you pushed her. Poor thing was really stuck! I felt bad for Hazel being there for 2 hours.
