Heya everyone, I've been in a portable gaming mood lately and I want to pick up some GBA classics I might have missed out on. Any recommendation is appreciated.

Just so you know I like platformers, RTS games, and RPGs the most on portable systems. I know there is no shortage of any of these genres on GBA so I hope to hear a good number of suggestions.

For the record I own and like the following:
Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga
Metroid Fusion
Metroid: Zero Mission
Legend of Zelda the Minish Cap
Castlevania: Circle of the Moon
Final Fantasy V Advance

Also, I know I'm definitely know I'm Final Fantasy VI Advance already, so no need to recommend that one. :)

Is GoldenSun on the GBA?
I think so, yeah.

Wikipedia says that and its sequel is on GBA.

So, pretty good?

@Bul, yeah, been meaning to try these two out.

^ this.

and if you like it, the sequel. don't trade in the first for the second though, there's a transfer thing for your characters/save file, after a while, totally worth it. and it's fun, and way deep.

was going to suggest circle of the moon, *censored.2.0*'s so cash. ;D

the third gba castlevania's alright, but I prefer CotM, chu chu rocket's awesome until you beat all the puzzles (good luck finding it, though), and yeah, fire emblem's pretty awesome if you like that style.

also, how do you not own pokemon? @_@

wario land 4 is alright, but old, kingdom hearts, maybe, kirby and the amazing mirror (meh) and that's it. yoshi's island if you don't mind it being a remake. again, *censored.2.0*'s so cash.

Drill Dozer
Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town
Samurai Jack: The Amulet of Time (If you like Samurai Jack)

Those are the top played games in my Emulator.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I don't own a Pokemon game for GBA because that was the time I was in high school and Pokemon was NOT COOL then. I'll probably pick up Fire Red/Leaf Green sometime as I want to play the original game again.

ChuChu Rocket is a game I don't hear of often, I'll be sure to check dat out.

Wario and Kirby I might get eventually.

Did they change anything on Yoshi's Island, as that was a game I was really interested in.

Haha, I can always count on you for obscure games, I'll be sure to check these out.

yoshi's island is more or less the same, yes. main difference is one extra level per set (so like 7/8, i forget) and it's way easier to unlock the secret levels.

pokemon's always been cool. :3

Hmm, those changes sound pretty nice, sounds like a must have, plus it's portable Yoshi's Island, which is very nice.

@ Animefan: There is no Ducktales port on GBA, that's for original Game Boy, which my DS cannot play sadly.

if you liked the fluttering/tongue sound effects, they're replaced with the yoshi story (n64 ones) so you know.

just in case you were annoyed by the link to the past link sounding like majora's mask/OoT. if you don't have the port for that, it's worth it only if you have friends with it/who want to play four swords (and then there's a temple in the single player mode, once you finish four swords. lol @ me.)

just in case you were annoyed by the ]I have no idea why they felt the need to change sounds to fit in with the newer games. It was especially bad in Link to the Past and Super Mario Bros 3.

The Yoshi sounds sound bearable though at least it kind of fits.

LttP was awful, I didn't play the port of SMB3, and the yoshi sounds didn't bother me, too much. I had to play the original before I realized they changed anything, to begin with. lol.

Sims bustin' out [so old and I havent been able to beat is. Good time wise]

Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town (If you like farming games. It's just overall really fun to play too.)
Pokemon Games
Uhh...
Well, 90% of my games for GBA were pokemon, so... xD

Oh yeah! Get Super Mario Bros. 3. It's really addicting to play on GBA.
