Re-Tail Selling Crowns?

Will I be able to sell a full pocket of crowns although it exceeds the ~1.6m pocket capacity or will I be told that I cannot hold that much bells?

If it exceeds the pocket capacity, I'd assume it'd be the same as in City Folk and tell you that you can't hold that many bells.
