I have no interest in Raymond right now, but less than an hour ago someone auctioned Raymond with a 450 NMT buyout and that buyout was jumped on literally in a minute. So he's worth a ton right now. You're welcome everyone who is against inflated prices.
 
I'd buy him for 1 NMT because I'm not a big fan of him nor do I understand the massive hype around him 🤷‍♀️ But most people will buy him for a high amount of NMT so you'd probably get a decent price for him.

Haha yeah that was me that sold him :^) If he was in my cycling town I would have had a buyout of 150 like usual. But he was in my real town and I did really like him. I try not to be too greedy cause honestly idk wth I'd do with 500+ nmt but I get it was a lot. I tried not to take extreme advantage of the crazy inflated prices (sorry if I still did!) I'm using it to find my dreamies now

Honestly 450 is a steal compared to the 2000+ offers I've seen.

Jk but on a real note though, his worth is really subjective because after all, he’s just a character made of code and pixels. He’s really just given a price because people made him have one. I like Raymond and all but the fact that people are going out of their way to pay 2500 NMT or pay actual $50 USD on eBay to get him is crazy.

I think his worth is really up to you. What do you think he’s worth?
 
Craziness. How do people even get that many NMT? I saw this thing on twitter someone selling him for 300 bucks IRL. Insanity. I think if I didn't hardcore reset for dom 3 days straight, i'd probably pay maybe 50-100 for him, but then i'd stay patient and wait for amiibos if it was anything more. Bells though, oof. I think I'd go high there.

I got him (raymond) as my forced smug camper and said f it, I guess i'll keep em. Otherwise, honestly, I had my fingers crossed for pietro. I have grown a bit attached to him (raymond) though, so I plan to keep him. If he ever wanted to move out and I got bored of him, I would just give him away to someone though. Amiibos are bound to come out sooner or later if people just stay patient.

He became my 10th islander just today.

Honestly I didn't get the big deal but I wanted somebody special for my 10th so I island hopped until I got one.
 
I bought my Raymond for 350m + 40nmt. Auctions can be bonkers tho like one sold for 3k NMT LOL
