So you know how after T.I.Y. opens Gracie starts to visit your town? well today happened to be the second time she visited.
I came online at around ten AM today to find out today's 'Fashion check' was all about Official. Way easier than last time. I had the perfect hat, shirt, accessory, shoes, and stockings but I was missing the pants/skirt. I ordered some Official pants from the kiosk and patiently waited all day to get them and show Gracie. recently, I got them, put them on, and then talked to Gracie. She gave me much more positive feedback than last time and she made me really happy. she gave me a Gracie's Bed.
the whole reason why I want Gracie to come to my town is her store. A free Gracie's Bed? I was in Lalaland. I was even thinking about selling it here in Retail.
and then my world turned grey.
My neighbor, Chrissy, whom I love, asked for a piece of furniture for her house. She does this usually, and I like to help my neighbors, so I realize I have three pieces of furniture in my pockets. I give her one. and yes, what you think will happen happens. It was my bed.
So I try not to lose it. Mentally, I mean.
I talked to Chrissy about twenty times trying to flatter her into giving me a possession of hers, like the Bed I'd trade for anything I had in my pockets. but then, as some neighbors do, mutter an excuse not to talk, and they walk around town deeply thinking about either what they want to make for dinner that night or just about life.
So I had two options: Reset and talk to Gracie again, or I could try tomorrow.
though, I thought about it. One of my neighbors, Br.. Brof.. Brofina? Brofina had the rare Gorgeous bed, and as you know I don't have Gracie's store yet, and that particular item could be worth a lot and if I could get her to be my friend I could get it for free. I sent her so many gifts in letters, and I tried every day to be her best friend until one day I gave her a different bed. and of course, she switched it out... but she never gave me the old bed. or sold it in Retail. In fact, it was like it was never there. I refused to let this happen again. I Reset.
If any of you happen to be in this situation, heed my advice: don't reset. you'd have a much better chance trying to get it back by being their friend.
As soon as I went back online I changed into the pants and ran to the Tree where Gracie would of been standing, but she was gone. So not only did I lose the bed, but I think I waited for those pants to come to my mailbox all day for nothing. why did she disappear? it's not the end of the day yet? It must of been because I reset..
Sorry about complaining, I just hope this will inspire other people to not reset when they're in a bad situation like this.
