Rally Against Free Speech At My School Today

There was this guy at my school today speaking about something that is not important for this topic. I'll just say that it was controversial. But he was speaking in the center of campus and the crowd around him got up to about... I'd say 200 students. The police were there too. And some students were making counter speeches, but most were there to see the action I guess.

When the police arrived (they do this to make sure no one gets hurt), the crowd started chanting "arrest him now." I didn't care about the event up to that point. These people who were supposedly for equal rights wanted somebody arrested for speaking. How come when someone's own freedom is in danger they'll talk about their rights, maybe even make drama out of it... as they should, of course. But when they don't agree with another person, the same doesn't apply to him or her? Hypocritical.

I am not arguing against your beliefs. And yes they can bring it on that they cause then. No real need for you to "cut" them.

With anything contraversial there will be people that dont know the reason of such matter complaining... EG: L4D2 gets censored in AUS because of zombie cops because some 80 year old that dosent know what Valve is complains that kids will shoot grenades at them...

And yet MW2 got into AUS Censor-free and you kill hundreds of civillians in the first 20 minutes...

If they dont use it... they dont have a say...

Yeah me too. If the crowd of some 200 people or so were all chanting to arrest the guy, AND the police had to come...it must have been a pretty heated discussion (and big issue).
