R.I.P Aqua Blue 3DS'

So it has come to my attention today that Nintendo are ceasing production of the Aqua Blue 3DS due to lack luster sales. So all Blue 3DS are now endangered and may become rare, so if your planning to buy one of this colour you should hurry up!

I was gonna get a blue 3DS, ended up getting the Zelda 3DS bundle. Way better. but still, blue looked pretty cool

My brother has a blue one and its pretty vibrant and crystal-y compared to the Red that looks like blood, Pink that looks like Luna's hair in Harvest Moon but a bit lighter, Black (that I have) that's crystal-y but dark, and Purple that looks like swimming pool water at night with all lights off.

I honestly believe that blue would have sold more if it wasn't half blue half black. I like blue, my very first DS was blue but I didn't like the blue on black effect.

I liked the Black and Blue thing because they needed two colors contrast the most and thats black and blue.

I agree that it would have been better dark blue. I love my aqua blue 3DS. I got the blue version because I liked it better and plus I have all blue DS's (Blue DS Lite, Special Metallic Blue DSi, and Aqua Blue 3DS). :3

I got the blue at launch. I mean, it was either boring black or an actual color. Would have gotten purple if they release it at launch though -____-

If Flame Red or Ice White were out at time, I would've got one of those. But I'm still happy with Aqua Blue. It appeals to me more than Cosmos Black.

They will be rare-ish eventually, considering they're not being produced anymore.

but from what it looks like, there are probably still tens of thousands of aqua-blue 3DS systems still on store shelves, so they'll still be available.

I have the black one and it's pretty great! I can't see much fingerprints (unless you move it around so light is on the screen). The screens may get dusty most of the time but other than that I like the black finish to it.

If Aqua Blue gets rare you should sell it for a couple 300 hundred dollars. Imagine the epic auction fights.

Anyways, my brother has a blue one and it's pretty cool. In the light its extremely shiny and is hard to get your eyes off of one. Although it would be better if it wasn't black/blue it's still a good-looking color. I would've gotten the Purple one but I didn't want to miss out. Plus I got the 3DS by surprise anyway.
