Quick Question about Dr. Mario Amiibo

Hey, I just decided to import a Dr. Mario amiibo and I was wondering if any knew if it had a similar situation with Toon Link. Toon Link generally is counted as a link amiibo in games that do not support both such as Hyrule Warriors and Mario Kart. I was just curious because I actually don't have a Mario amiibo and it be kinda neat if Dr. Mario covered all it's basic functionality.

It does. The only time I believe it's different is in yarn yoshi where DR. Mario unlocks a dr. Mario costume rather than a regular Mario costume.

Yeah, I knew it unlocked dr. mario costumes in both Mario Maker & Wooly World. But thanks for letting me know, saves me the trouble of picking up regular mario evauntually

Mario is actually WAY more common in NA than Dr. Mario

I Know he's super common, I went to Walmart today and saw at least 5 Marios. I like picking up characters largley based on if I like a character in smash bros., rather than collecting them all. I like Dr. Mario a lot more conceptually, it's probably just cause I like him because he's a Doctor lol, but because of that I use him more and I'd have his amiibo. He's also pretty easier to pre order or import in NA right now for a decent price so rarity really isn't an issue
