I love books.
My favorite series include the Harry Potter books, the Divergent Books, The Chanters of Tremaris books, Vampire Academy books, The Hush Hush series, The Fallen series (by Lauren Kate), The Immortals series by Alyson Noel, The mortal instruments books, and The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod.
Granted, some of those were from my (awful) vampire phase, but that doesn't make them bad books.

My Favorite book series is Harry Potter. It's what I turn to when I'm having a hard time and need something to keep me going. Another series that's really good though is The Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica. It's fantastic and ties in some very popular classic fantasy series (such as Lord of the rings, J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan, 20,000 leagues under the sea) by subtly hinting at them and it's so much fun to read. It's got dragons and wendigos and magical creatures left and right and it's got awesome characters and storyline.

My favorite book is Ready Player One by Earnest Cline. It's sci-fi and I found it in a cheap book store. To be honest I wasn't sure how I would take to this book, but the more I read the more I got hooked. I don't think it's very well known, but it's basically a semi-future setting where the world has be immersed into a game and it has become part of normal everyday life and culture. There is a competition going on regarding the game's creator and his death, and things just pick up from there~ It's really exciting and if you like games at all you'd probably think wow, if this situation wasn't so crazy this would be really cool!

Feeling generous, I'm going to add 1 million bells along with the items listed. C:

I have actually gotten into a series of books, and I have another series that not many know about. The one I am reading is 'The Sandman Slim' series. The first book is the same name as the series, it is by Richard Kadrey. The other is actually two trilogies the first is the Study Series, and the second the Glass Series. The they are in the same world, the second is focused around a different character then the first. The first book in the first series is called Poison Study, start from there.

My favorite book is Brisinger, it is the thrid book in the inheritence cycle by Christoper Paulini

My favorite is Cell by Stephen King!! :D Oooooh it's sososososo good but really gory (and a little inappropriate in some parts) but it's definitely my favorite. I love it because it just sucked me into the story!! I love the writing and the ideas that were put into this book. It's such a cool concept too! But you'll have to read it to find out what I'm talking about ;)

My favourite series has gotta be The Chocolate Box Girls <3. There great books and teach you a lot of things and are great reads since there's quite a few of them floating around.

The Foundation Trilogy

Alright, it's technically three books (and goes into a whole series), but they are some of the best science fiction books to exist of the face of the planet. These books were written by none other than Isaac Asimov himself. Now, you're probably thinking to yourself, "He sounds familiar, where have I heard that name?".

It just so happens that Isaac Asimov is the father of robotics and science fiction. He wrote the robotic laws, and was the inspiration for the movie "I, Robot". Now, you love books so I don't have to tell you that the books are better than the movie, and we'll get past that hiccup in Will Smith's career.

I didn't read these other posts in the column because I doubted this would be in here already, but I can count on people saying "Harry Potter". Yeah, J.K. Rowling was a great author, but Isaac Asimov makes her look like she was writing articles for those trashy magazines next to the register when you check out. She wrote 7 books. Asimov wrote so many books that he is the only artist to have a book in every single category of the Dewey Decimal system. Every last one of Isaac Asimov's fiction books are related to each other. After you read about 3-4 of his books, you begin to realize he is not writing books, he is writing a grand odyssey about the future of the earth and mankind. You have not heard a series of tales this great since you were reading about Homer in your high school english class.

TL,DR: I would like to win, but even if I don't pick up an Isaac Asimov book. This dude was the father of science fiction and robotics.

Try the book Wicked, by Gregory Maguire, it is the book that the play " Wicked " was loosely based on. It is the life and times of the Wicked Witch of the West. it is a great read. ^^

It's hard to pick a favorite, but one that has stuck with me throughout the years is The Alliance by Gerald N. Lund. It takes place after world war three and has to do with creating a perfect society. It's definitely an exciting read and difficult to put down even for those I've had read it that aren't big readers.

If that's not your type of thing try The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale (rewrite of the fairytale by the same name). By far one of the best fantasies I've ever read and I love how the author writes.

Asking for a favourite book is like asking me to pick a favourite appendage.... I'm kind of fond of all of them! But if I had to choose at the moment? Despite my really expensive degrees, I would pick the Harry Potter series. I know it's cheating and it's 7 books, not one, but it's so skillfully plotted and while there are plot holes you could shove a troll through, overall, it's a great story about the triumph of deep love over all things. Not even romantic squooshy love. Just love -- whether squishy romantic, best friend fidelity, respect or otherwise -- conquers all the darkest things.

And it's a series that grows with the reader. I wish it'd been around when I was a kid. Though there are still parts that can make me tear up even today and I'm 34 and have them pretty much memorized, so maybe it's better they weren't. ^_~

The Dark Jewels Trilogy by Anne Bishop; sorry more than one! If dark fantasy is your cup of tea, then her books are a good choice! And if you like the opening trilogy, then you will probably love the other 6 and counting books!

ENDED. I will put all entries in a random generator. Winner will be announced in 5-10 mins.
