QUICK! Campsite reset trick?

I'm building the campsite in my town - I just paid off the bells. If I go in tomorrow, we'll do the ceremony and there won't be any campers, right? I remember there are campers very soon after you first build it. Like the second day or something. And I would have to use the "New save file" thing to cycle through them? Thanks.

You get a camper 2 days after you complete it. Ex
Day 1 you build it
Day 2 it's completed and you attend the ceremony and there will be no camper
Day 3 100% always be a camper

Aside from the guaranteed camper on the 3rd day, is there any other way to increase the likelihood of a camper, or is it totally random after this point? My campsite had been built for a long time and didn't know about this little trick back then.

It's random. I haven't had a camper at all this week

It is pretty random, but I think it's all part of the game's luck system from there. It just depends. But if you know how to do the new villager reset trick to cycle through tents you can get someone good. Especially if you do it on the day when you are guaranteed a camper because every time you do a new character you'll have a different person in your tent and you can easily cycle through tons of villagers until you get one you want.
