Questions for people with 2 (or more) towns :3

Hey! So I've finally decided to buy another copy of ACNL but I have just a few questions first :3

- Firstly where can I get a Japanese region console? I'd like to be able to get the Japanese version of ACNL so that I can get different holidays ect.
- Where's the best place to buy the Japanese game version too? xD

Yup, just like what Loviechu said, prepare to spend quite a lot including your soul and a couple of limbs. Are you doing this just for the JAP DLC though? That's not worth it at all because you can just try to buy some from the Retail subforum. Spending bells is better than hundreds of dollars. owo;;

I recommend Play-Asia. I got a Japanese 3DSLL from there (not for AC, for Terry's Wonderland). They've always been reliable for me--but yeah, it WON'T be cheap.

On the plus side the Japanese get dozens of incredible fancy cover designs nobody else does...

Are you doing this just for the JAP DLC though?

I know it's going to cost a lot :3 but I'm not dumb enough to buy it just for the DLCs haha
not just for ACNL either actually... There are a few japanese 3ds games I've wanted to buy for a while but couldn't due to the region thing xD

You can try eBay too just look for a 3DS LL. I've seen lots on there but they are quite pricey so just be ready for that.

That's because you could end up like the guy who spent $700 and got a photo of the xbox one instead of the actual item itself.

Personally, I don't trust eBay with things like this because you can't really trust the ones that say "never opened" or "slightly used" for all you know, that "never opened" could've been dropped incredibly hard on the floor, or the slightly used could possibly be only slightly used, but have damage done to it, like errors constantly occurring, internal sd reader not working properly, I have had a few friends swear to never buy from eBay anymore because of those problems. Though you spend more, I still suggest going to a site that can offer you straight from the warehouse and not a 3rd party or 4th party seller.

This is true... However I bought my current 3ds from ebay for ?100 brand new (plus many other things) and I've never had any problems at all. I always check that it can be returned if needed and I always check their feedback before buying from them - In other words it's a good site as long as your careful and "read the fine print" before buying IMO

Which is why I stated friends of mine had it happen. I don't buy from eBay because I prefer Etsy, Amazon, Playasia and Yesasia. Just better market to without that whole having to bid and wait crap. Then they crank up the buyout Price to be ridiculous. •____•
Either way, I don't use eBay, but if it works for you, go for it!

One last question before I let this thread die

I've found a good 3ds LL AND JP ACNL game for ?100 ($163.54 ish) and I was wondering if maybe I'd get a better deal after Christmas... The thing is though - I don't want to miss this opportunity if I won't get a better one but then obviously it works both ways... So what do you think? Should I wait or take the chance?

Personally I don't think I'll get much better than that but I'm not sure as I don't usually check online shops often... xD
