Questions about time travel and moving

I'm a bit confused about how time travel affects move-outs and move-ins. I tried looking it up, but it only made me more confused @.@

1) I want to eventually tt forward a month to repair my grass. If I wait until I'm down to 8 villagers, can I do it without risking someone moving out?

2) I know it's likely someone will move in during that time. If they do, will they just have a house plot, or will they be fully moved in? Can I still use the reset trick?

If you have 8 and you TT a month ahead, you'll be fine. Someone's plot might show up, though.

1) when you have 8 villagers you should only have a move-in
2) they'll most likely have a house plot
