QUESTION- Why do people buy Hybrids?

i'm guessing some people need a bunch of them and buying will be faster or something, like for places where it's supposed to be full of flowers of the same color and such since those would take a while to make on your own
what i really don't understand is why they sell for so much, since like you said they're very easy to get without doing too much

I say because of either large quantities, Blue Roses, Blue Pansies, any type of Pansy hybrid, or because flowers hate them and want them to die so that they can finally take over the world by growing in a small town... Thus, they won't grow.

I got a couple blue roses from another person because I seriously couldn't get any to grow myself... Now I realize my villagers were probably planting red roses where I was trying to grow the hybrid red roses. Those pesky villagers! 
I see a lot of misinformation about growing certain hybrids too, so maybe some people don't want to deal with that?

blue roses/purple pansies are annoyingly difficult to breed, some people want tons and tons of colorful hybrids to decorate a certain part of town (or ALL of their town), carnations aren't available year round so you wouldn't have any unless you bought a pair and bred it.. and preference? if you have the bells, don't mind spending them, and don't want to wait but want to decorate your town then buying them is a better option, i would assume.
Stuff like blue roses and blue and purple pansies can be an absolute headache to breed. In five months I only got one blue pansy x___x and I saved it when I restarted because it took forever.
I can also understand buying "common" hybrids in bulk, like pink roses, orange cosmos, etc. but those are pretty easily obtainable and easy to get going, especially once you get fertilizer.

To be honest, I grew HUNDREDS of flowers by myself. My town is literally covered in hybrids and flowers. I purchased the last few I needed (i.e. ~20) because dig spots kept showing up in the last few spots I needed to grow flowers and I was rage inducing.
After working casually on my town for almost 500 hours (that makes me kind of sad haha) I don't see anything wrong with buying a small number of flowers. I have the money, so why not?

1. too lazy to breed
2. don't know how to breed
3. want a whole ton at once
4. think it's too hard

I don't hybridize much on purpose, but I still have quite a few hybrids. I've also been given some as gifts.

I buy hybrids because however much I try I can't seem to get them in my town, the only ones I can grow are blue violets, but I hate them. I use fertilizer and water them but they never grow
I wouldn't say people buying hybrids is considered lazy. I bought hybrids before because I wanted 2-4 carnations, blue roses, and purple pansies to breed on my own, or because I was landscaping my town and want hybrids in bulk so I wouldn't have to wait to breed and use fertilizer which may or may not work.
Also, I have over 100mil. I can spend it however I want.
So just like with the question if TTing is considered to be cheating or whatever, let people do whatever they want and don't bag on them for doing it.
