for i know that villagers we void sometimes end up in our main street. i have been looking around and did some research that there is something called the void pool which is a totally different part from our streetlist (?)

but what is exactly the difference between our streetlist and void pool?
and about the 16 cycle, how do we get our lost one back exactly? is it through the void pool or the streetlist?
and where can we see the villagers in the void pool??

Oho, I can answer this! owo/ There is a big difference between the streetlist and void pool.

A void pool deals with a villager that wasn't claimed by someone else before they've moved; and when the void is clear, anything in it is basically gone forever.

A streetlist, however, (I've never heard that term but I'm assuming it's the 16-villager-cycle) is recording every single villager who has moved out, regardless if they were claimed by someone else or not. After about.. 8 or 9 villagers have moved out, villagers start appearing in Main Street. When they stop appearing there, it means that the 16-villager cycle is finished, and you can ge tthe villager that moved out so long ago again.

A void cannot be so easily accessible and viewable though -- the only way to check what villagers are in your void are in your own memory. You can't check it at all in-game.

I'm sorry if this is awkwardly explained! ;v;/

I've never gone through the 16 villager cycle, but I think you get them back the usual ways -- either through adoption, the campsite, or as a random move-in. They will be different from your old villager, though. For example, if you did the cycle for Diana, the Diana you receive after the cycle won't be the same one you had before.
