Hi there. This is my first post here, but I've been trying to do research on what exact mechanics come into play with how often villagers will visit Re-Tail in a day, and with that, purchase items. I haven't found anything thus-far though, which is why I'm posting here. But if a thread about this already exists please let me know. Anyways, on to the main topic...
So, one of my pet peeves is selling items directly to Reese when they might have a high value in the flea market (Gems, superb coffee beans, etc.) and I've been wondering if there's any knowledge on the game mechanics for how often villagers will come in to Re-tail, because I have quite a few items stockpiled and would prefer to sell as many as I can as quickly as possible. I already know about the best value you can get for items (4x-1<10000), and how to get a villager to buy something once they are in the building, but I don't know if there are any ways to accelerate how often they come in, or if there's a limit on the amount of items you can sell to villagers via the flea market.
Does anyone have any information on this? I'd be happy to undergo research on this topic if we can develop a solid structure of how to test any of this stuff and get concrete results.
