Question relating to new seasonal items for players that have restarted

Hey guys,
With the new update being released and new turkey day/Christmas seasonal items being announced, it’s gotten me thinking is the only way to get these new items especially Christmas ones from the seasonal plot in the upgraded nooks cranny. As that would mean people just started would miss out on this items and potentially miss out of toy day because they’ve just started and therefore haven’t had the opportunity to upgrade nooks.

You can trade/buy the items from other players, or TT to get your Nooks upgraded before Dec. 1st.
