There are three games I will get when they come out: Mario Party: Island Tour, Wii Fit U, and Mario and Sonic at the Sochi Olimpic Winter Games. All of these games are from series that I never tried before and I have questions regarding them all.

Mario Party
I have played Mario Party 2 and didn't enjoy it that much mostly because it seemed like it could only fully enjoyed with groups. However, more modern mario party games seem to catch my interest and Island Tour is one of them. Considering that this is a handheld mario party game that you mostly might take with you, I want to know, can the handheld versions still be enjoyed by yourself or can it only be enjoyed fully with other people?

Wii Fit
I never owned a Wii Balance Board and I don't really plan on trying to lose weight. The only thing that Wii Fit U drew my interest to was the activities. The snowboarding, waiter and trampoline exercises look very fun and I bet I will also find the aerobics and yoga exercises to be too. However, I do want to know, is this game only worth buying if you are "trying" to workout or lose weight or can it be bought just to play and have fun.

Mario and Sonic at the Sochi Olimpic Games
I have played only the first game in the series, I have never played the London 2012 or the first Winter Olimpic games. I want to simply know if this is worth buying if I enjoyed even the first game in the series even if I never tried the first Winter Olimpic games.

Wii fit is really only worth buying if you plan on using it to help workout and lose some pounds, I wouldn't find most of the other activities all the exciting really. And Mario & Sonic is a mixed bag, if you enjoyed the first title then perhaps you'll enjoy this one as well.

I've never played a handheld version on Mario Party but I believe that you could play by yourself with an AI. I'm not sure if you find that fun but it does let you play by yourself and learn what all the items do/find the best pathway before you play with real people.

I would only get wii fit if you are planning to use it to lose weight. This game alone won't help you lose weight but it is a fun addition to your usual workout routine. Not only that, but I think this game is pretty expensive if you don't already have a wii balance board. Also if you do decide you want the game, really consider if you will get bored with it. It would be a waist of money to buy the game and the balance board only to use it for a week or two before becoming bored with it.

I've never played a mario and sonic Olympic game so I have nothing to add on to that.

Mario Party DS was the last good one. 8 sucked and my friend didn't like 9 that much so eh... I don't know. I don't plan on getting it, but maybe it'll be better than the last few console entries.

I wouldn't mind if they put 1-9 on one disc, though. Although I'll just stick to my N64 games.

I can only comment about Mario Party. So, the first one was the best, because it was something new. Each version got more and more repetitive, with 9 barely able to qualify for fun. Now, that's speaking for someone who has played all versions. If this a new game for someone, 9 might be fun because you've never played it before. But it's basically like any other Mario title; It's getting old.

I think that's why I'm partial to the first two, since that's what I grew up with. I also skipped 3-6 (didn't get a Gamecube until 7), so eh. Advance and DS was fun, though.

when it comes to mario party. stick to n64 that's usually the most fun, haha. i'd go as high as 4 before the quality significantly drops, imo.

i used to play it a lot by myself, but ultimately, it shines when playing against friends. they don't call it party for nothing.

I looked at some gameplay of Wii Fit Plus and the exercises look fun. The new dance category mentioned also looks very cool. I hope that at least all of the aerobic and balance activities from the previous games are in Wii Fit U. If so, I will surely buy wii fit u. At least I would be playing a game that actually benefits me in some way. As for mario party, I think I will pass on that. As for the Mario and Sonic at the Sochi Winter Olimpics, I think I will get it since I never got to play the first one in the series.
