So, I recently received the letter from the HHA informing me that I had finally surpassed the 1,100,000 point mark! I did this by completely revamping my house with furniture I am not fond of. Consequently, as soon as I claimed my prize, I eagerly anticipated changing my house back to normal...
...There's just one problem. According to Animal Crossing Wikia, Phineas awards players with the gold Happy Homer badge after they reach 150,000 HHA points. However, despite me surpassing this AGES ago AND encountering Phineas numerous times since then, he STILL has refused to give me the badge.
Anyways, my question is this: if I change my house back to normal (thereby lowering my HHA score drastically) will I still be able to get the gold badge from Phineas? Or do I need to wait around with my unsavory house until Phineas finally relinquishes the badge?
