So I have Rosie in my town but I'm losing interest in her.
So I was thinking about trading her for Skye.
Would this be possible? Rosie is tier 1 though so would she be an overoffer for Skye?
Would it be best to ask for Skye AND bells?
I really need help with this, thanks! :)

I don't know. I'm not every member who lurks the Villager Trading Plaza. Ask for what you want, really, don't ask us. If there isn't a buyer after a week or something, then you know that the price is too high.

Let's see if I can give you a more positive response. Sheesh. If you want to know who's interested in your villager, you need to look in the villager trading forum. Also, do a search for past threads on that character and see what people are paying/trading. You can ask or whatever you want...bells....villagers....whatever. You set the price.

I take it you havent traded before. When your villager is in boxes, just have someone come to your town and ask that character to move to their town. Likewise, when the character you want is in boxes, go to their town and ask them to move in to your town. Trading villagers can take a while. If both villagers are in boxes at the same time, you can't trade. You'll need to trade off your villager, let someone else move in, and make an opening whenever the villager you want is ready to go. Could take days, even with TT.

If you really want Skye, do the trade. I have traded tier 1 villagers for like tier 4 villagers because i really want them. Also, just ask for skye plus bells, see if there are any takers.

Just my two cents, i have been trading villagers for a year now, probably more then 50 have come and gone from my village... Usually a villager to villager trade is difficult just because you need the stars to align. I have had more luck just selling the villager then buying the next villager i wanted.

In my opinion, it really depends on how badly you want/need bells... I would personally just do a trade without any bells involved. That seems like a fair trade to me, and a lot of people would be happy to trade Skye for Rosie. But I'm sure you'd be able to also get some bells if you really wanted.

Of course you can aske for bells or set , series, is a tier one and most likely someone will make the deal, she is very wanted altough not for me, but it will be easier to just make the trade, go to villager plaza and star a new thread asking for skye and bells you will get some answers inmeadialty, if you dont get the response you wanted just lower your prices.

Another thing you can do is Auctioning or selling Rosie, and with the bells that you will get buying later Skye, most likely you will end with spare bells from your villager.

You could definetely trade Rosie for Skye. If you get multiple offers you could ask for bells. And like Dewy said; it depends on how much you want bells. You could ask for bells up front if you need or want some. Or just trade outright if you don't care.:)

I'm sure some others users would jump at the chance to trade Skye right out for Rosie. It depends on if you're comfortable asking for Skye plus Bells. Sometime users will withhold offers until you've given up on what they can't offer: in this case, Bells.

I traded a tier 1 villager for a tier 4 or 5 villager.
I don't care about popularity of a villager that much. If I like that villager then it's worth it.
If you want Skye more than Roise you could trade for her :) you could also ask for bells too. That's totally up to you.

Yeah, I don't care about the whole tier thing, especially when trading villagers. The tiers are kinda silly. You like who you like. Given the choice between Ankha and Anchovy, I'd take Anchovy every time. It's all about what you want. I have Ankha and I'd trade her straight up for Deli. Is Deli even in a tier??
