I am aware that each villager personality sound different to each other. For example Peppy's speak in a squeaky voice and Crankies speak in a low voice. But I noticed that Julian and Olaf who are both smug villagers sound different to each other. Are my ears just playing tricks on me or do villagers with the same personality still have differences in their voices? I'm pretty sure Marina and Coco sound a bit different too. Can anybody confirm this?

I have Olaf. He was one of the three forced plots.

I also have Shep, another smug, and Olaf doesn't talk like a smug.

He's like, one of those interior decorators from 'Queer Eye'.

LOL

Yes, I can confirm this observation. Villagers can have either high, “normal”, or low voices. Usually there’ll be only two options within each personality (example: Cranky villagers can have either normal or low voices)

That explains why Wolfgang sounds like his voice is coming from a tomb. :)
