This seems a little odd.
Before I restarted, I bought a picture of Wolfgang to go along with a pic of Lobo's.
When I restarted, I took Wolfgangs pic with me to my new town - then got him in my town a couple days after.
and.. I don't talk to him as much (still love him though) compared to other villagers, but he already sends me letters and presents. When I talked to Lyle for a home rating, he said Wolfgang came over and talked to him lots about him and I being good friends.
Q: Could it be that having his villager picture makes his friendship with me high already? Or it's just that we're already good friends?
