Question about Turnips

I want to TT to mid-December to avoid all this orangey Dorito grass. Would I be exempt from interacting with anyone still in November for fear of spoiling my Turnips?

Example: I TT to Dec. 15 and buy Turnips. Someone still in November has a high buying price, and I want to visit them. Will my Turnips spoil?

Vice Versa Example: Joan is selling for a good price on Dec. 15. People still in November want to buy Turnips from her. Would their Turnips spoil when they return home?

Help please!

Traveling to other towns don't hurt the turnips that you have.

I think they will spoil due to the large time difference.
Try travelling with 1 turnip first, an let us know.

Well, now that's the thing. I want to know if someone else has experienced what I'm talking about.

Some people tell me that TTing only affects the turnips you own. Others tell me TTing screws you over competely. Any definitive answers before I take the plunge?

If you have turnips and you're in 2016, you can go to a town who is in 2050 and have no problems. It's only problematic when you have the turnips on you when you TT.

I see. So basically, it doesn't matter when or where you go with your Turnips, just don't go past Sunday or backwards in your own town? Turnip spoilage only happens if you mess with your personal clock?

Correct.
The don't TT past Sunday and don't go back only applies when you're dealing with your turnips in your town with your clock.
