Question about the Flower Bed PWP

I recently put down the flower bed pwp and I was wondering if you can create hybrids in it? If not, I'll probably just put gold roses in it once I get more black roses. Thank you!~

You can breed hybrids in the flower bed. You can either leave one or two open spaces in the flower bed and breed them that way, or you can fill the flower bed with four hybrids, and new hybrids will grow in the space around the flower bed. It's not any faster than breeding them anywhere else, though, so it might be a while before you get something besides a normal flower.

It's useful for breeding hybrids and not worrying about a villager deciding to park its house on top of your flowers.
