so i haven't played in 2 months, and i updated my acnl to the amiibo update and launched my second copy and realized you can't TT. if i launch my main copy, will i have the possibility of losing my dreamies due to this..? i'm at 10 villagers.

I updated my system and than forgot one of my towns was frozen on a date. To fix this I removed the update in the systems and than opened the game. Asked Isabelle to change the date and than did a save/quit. I than went back in the 3DS systems and added the update again. Opened the town and got all players updated. The town is now frozen again.

I did this during the first update and it was a digital copy. I removed the cartridge ACNL that was already updated from the system. Made sure the update was done before I put the cartridge back in the system.

If you stopped mover when you last played just open the game. You wouldn't lose a villager. Just make sure to talk to all of them.

You can remove the Update in the Systems. It has a Wrench. Click on Data Management and look for ACNL update.
That is what I removed and than went back after all my players got thru the update.

Just change the time on your internal 3ds clock.

I had the same problem but I just bit the bullet and did it anyways and no one left. I'm so blessed

No one is supposed to leave, I think. Although I time traveled back before I got the update, my sister forgot to do that and got right on, and she hadn't played for a while but nobody left.
