Question about star rating

Can you improve your star rating during the course of the day or do you have to wait for it to update the following day? I’ve been looking for the answer to this everywhere and can’t find it. Any help is appreciated.

The rating can change throughout the day, I am not sure exactly how many times or when it updates but I have had mine change in a day.

Yeah I think I there’s no limit to it changing. It follows a point system so when your points change, so do the rating.

Makes sense. They make you wait for so much I was hoping I didn’t wait on that too lol

Yep, it updates throughout the day depending on the tasks Isabelle asks that you've completed. I didn't learn that until late last month and thought it was just daily, too. Now that I'm aware it's task-based instead of time-based, I've been able to catch up a lot faster since then! Basically keep doing what Isabelle asks. I'm at 4 stars right now and seem close to 5.

Yea I’m still having a rough go. I’ve been stuck at 2 stars all day. I’ve probably completed what she’s asked to do over 100 times by now and the star rating won’t budge. My island has decorations and fencing just about everywhere I have no idea what’s goin on with it
