Question about second copies?~

so, i was just wondering, how do peeps with second copies of the game (who use them to get dreamies and bells), transfer the dreamies and bells to their main town? do they have to have 2 consoles? because, i was thinking of getting a second copy for bells and dreamies and then eventually turning it into a cycling town. but how i would i give myself these things if i only have one console, is it possible?

ask your friends who have acnl! i'm sure they will be glad to help you transfer villagers/items. c:
you can insert your 2nd copy into their 3ds if you and your friend are close by, but if not, you can just go on your 2nd copy and transfer your stuff to their town.

i'd imagine some people have two consoles, or they transfer them through a friend.

If your family members have a 3ds you could use, see if you can borrow yours to transfer items

i use my sisters DS to transfer stuff, some ppl borrow a friends DS or transfer to a friends game and have the friend bring the stuff to their main

My niece has a 2DS, I give her my game cartridge and I use my main cartridge to transfer works really well actually. Can only do it once in a while though, when hse brings her 2DS...

I use my brothers DS for transferring
I also breed hyrbids as I cycle, so I transfer those too
