Question about Redd and his art

Hello! I'm currently trying to get my last missing pieces of art from Redd, and it is very tedious.. Does anyone know if his pieces of art will change if I reset the game (Turn on and off without saving), or will the items be the same the entire day? I have his tent in my town right now, and it would be a lot easier just turning on and off instead of TT'ing back a day and then forward again. Sorry for the horrible explanation, but I hope you understand my question

Once you load in for the first time with any character, the town will stay the way it is. You have to go to a new day to get new art.

What you can do is start a new character before you start your mayor that day. Then check the plaza to see if Redd is there. If he isn't, press home and quit your game. Then start a new character again. Then check again. Just keep doing this until you get Redd's tent and when you do go to Isabelle and set up your house and everything. Save your game then delete the character you just made. Load up your mayor and Redd's tent should still be there.

My problem is not making Redd appear, I was just wondering if it was possible to change his stock without having to timetravel back and forth. But it looks like I will have to continue TT'ing ;x Thanks anyway though
