So I was wondering how plot resetting works...like, let's say that you went into your mayor file and played the game. Then you see that someone new went into town just today, and you don't like where they chose thrir house. Can you still reset, and start your mayor file again? Or reset and start a new save file? Hope someone can help me out with this, thanks! :lemon:

nope, once you've loaded your mayor if there is a roped off area in town reserved for a villager, that's were they'll be!
in order to plot reset you must start a new save file c:

for instance, say you buy a villager off this forum; then you will know that they will be moving into your town the next day. so when you start the game tomorrow you must start with a new character if you wish to plot reset. if you load a new character and don't like where they are placed, simply quit the game without saving and start up a new character. if you like where they are then you can just keep playing until you can save, then save and quit and delete the new character afterwards. hope this helped!
