Question about Nook's Cranny and time travel

I'm not usually someone who time travels, but yesterday there was an item in Nook's Cranny for sale that I was thinking of buying but ending up leaving. Now I really wish I'd bought it so I was wondering, if I time travel back to yesterday will it still be there?

Their stock is usually the same. I've gone back to dates where I've brought things and the sold sign would still be there.
