Question about jacobs ladder

Quick question about jacobs ladders. I have a bunch planted all over town. Does that mean none will naturally pop up along the cliffs, even if you have perfect town status? Thanks for any input. I am just curious because i havent seen any pop up for a loooooong time.

I have many jacob's ladders from buying on tbt, and still get them popping up around my cliffs every now and then. It takes a bit, I've noticed. But I don't believe the amount in your town would cancel out getting them completely.

Any idea how often they spawn? Haven't seen new ones in a while and my town's been at perfect...

To my knowledge, the amount of Jacobs Ladders in your town doesn't affect how many grow on your cliffs. As long as you still have the perfect town status, they should still grow at normal pace.

How often they spawn/grow seems to be randomized as well.

as long as nothing occupies the cliff, you can get infinite (or at least until the clods we call villagers start complaining about too many plants and thus losing your perfect town status)

I have a perfect town status and found that they slow down when you have a lot. To fix this I picked up all the Jacob's Ladders and placed them in an extra players locker. Each day I got a new one and picked it up. Repeat until I had 70.

Took over 50 plus to my beautiful town to place in between the roses. They stopped spawning along the cliff. I've only found one there in 3 months of playing. The town is still has a beautiful rating.
