Question about house exterior glitch

So regarding the house exterior glitch with campsite villagers--I heard this glitch was caused by skipping the "plot sold" day through time travel or just not opening the game on that day (or by TTing backwards), but has anyone had it glitch either by TTing day-by-day or even without TTing?

I have two houses glitched and while the first one was my b and the reason I found out about this glitch lmao, the second I'm pretty positive I went to the "plot sold" day through TT and it was already bugged.
(Stitches' house was still there and it said "I've moved out")

Has anyone else had this happen? I was thinking about trying to do the campsite method to look for Sherb cause I can't find a single lazy villager on mystery tours, but I don't want his house to glitch,,,
I'd be willing to play it safe and not TT to rush his move in, but I'm a little nervous it'll still happen,,,

I had the glitch before I think from TTing backwards. Once I noticed that happened for my next move in I TTed forward day by day and had no issues. So no I haven’t had it happen like that.

Hmm, well good to know it's gone fine even with TT!
Not sure if I'm just unlucky or maybe I screwed up on accident, haha.
