You're supposed to get 4 new fossils every day, right? And I assume no more spawn if you haven't dug up one from a previous day? Except, I'm only getting 3 a day now. I don't think I'm missing any because I ran the length of my town multiple times over the length of a few days, and the stars are really easy to spot most of the time. Is it possible for fossils to spawn in a place you can't reach them? Or am I just blind? Any tips on where to look if I am just blind?

Check behind trees and buildings by pressing up on the d-pad!

To look for them better pick one area to start looking at making sure you check beind everything and then go around your whole town..

I'm starting to find mostly repeats of fossils I've already found and my villagers say things like "This place is shaping up!" about my fossil exhibit, so I don't even look that hard for them anymore. With how long I know I'll be playing this game, I know I'll definitely find them all eventually, so I'm just not that worried about it. xD Maybe it will end up being the same way for you!
