My native fruit is apple, i was gifted oranges the first day and i got from a nook island pears. I heard that the only way to get cherries and peaches is from another player online. My question is, does this apply to flowers too? I have windflowers, tulips and pansies... Do i have to get the other 5 from online players? Thanks in advance!

In my experience, you'll occasionally get other flowers in your shop. So far, I've been able to purchase seeds for cosmoses, tulips, hyacinths, pansies, and windflowers. At the moment, I only have cosmos, tulip, and windflower seeds available. Those have been the only ones I've been able to buy for a few weeks now.
The only way to get the missing flowers and fruits right now is from playing with other people online, but we obviously don't know what future events or updates might happen to change that.

You can purchase actually all the flower seeds from Nooks, however it seems to change more due to season (Such as Rose seeds appear more during winter) not sure if this is true, it's just how I've found more varieties of flower seeds
I got loads of fruits from mysterious islands. The game doesn’t rely on online players because people may not have friends so the game will at some point ensure everybody gets everything. Obviously rarer islands are harder to find when cycling through islands but you’ll find them eventually and with them you’ll find loads of foreign fruit in a single island of one type. After loads of time playing you’ll eventually have everything so don’t worry. Restricting some players would just be unfair and not a good move by Nintendo

But your second statement about flowers and birthday is not true its more of rumor that people keep saying enough, then believe its true but I will apologize if I am wrong.
And I apologize if I'm wrong! I've just read discussions where people say it tracks, and it does for me and family members. I guess I missed where people have said it's not true.
I'm not the one who datamined the info, nor would I have any idea how to do so to see if it's really there, so I guess I'll stop saying it just in case!

Yes you can find them, they're just rare to find non native fruit islands but when you find the island, there's an abundance of fruit available but only one type per island

I know, but I'm asking about different types. Every time I've found foreign fruit island (and I've found it ~10 times), it's been an apple orchard. What all fruits have you found?

It just seems like you have bad luck. There's guaranteed an island with another fruit for you to access. Everybody seems to have one type of foreign fruit they often see on islands. Mine is Apples and I think I found them three times now. It's not too common, but they also give you an easy amount of money.
You should also find two types of flowers on there from time to time. They just grow randomly on the islands. There are also islands that have a bunch of hybrid flowers in two colors.
I'm surprised you have so much bad luck with that many tours. Have you seen the bamboo island at least? Sometimes islands are money rock islands, but sometimes they spawn one specific fish for you to grind. Maybe you often run into those fishing islands for your "rare chance"?
