Question about 'Controlling where houses appear trick'?

So I just talked to one of my dream villagers from someone elses town. I don't want them to move on my hybrids so I'm trying the reset trick thing where you make a new character and don't save. If the place where Mitzi puts her house, I don't like and I reset, will the villager change? Like will it be Mitzi moving in anymore or someone else? I'm really confused. Someone please help x_x

Nope, if you got her from someone elses town then it will always be Mitzi moving in so you are safe to reset until her house is in a convenient spot

On the day that you KNOW that her plot is going to show up, then you make the new character. Then just keep on resetting until you get the perfect spot, and it'll always be Mitzi.
