Question about co-op multiplayer on Switch Lite

So this might be a silly question, but...

I know that I’ll need an extra controller for the second player, but can I still use the Switch Lite itself as the controller for the main player? Or will I need two extra controllers?

I believe you cannot play co-op on the Nintendo switch as there is no dock.

You can play co-op on the Switch Lite, I know that much already. Extra controllers can still be connected wirelessly so that isn’t an issue, I just need to know how many I’ll need.

Normally I’d say yes, but I’m only going to be playing with my husband so we’ll be cuddled up together anyway lol

i believe you just need one extra pair of joycons & you can use the switch lite controls for yourself!
