Sorry if this is all over the place and I'm just a ditz, but something's been bugging me since NH release.

The campsite. During winter, will the tent become an igloo?

Okay now that I've gotten that question out of the way, I also want to ask what everyone's planning for autumn and winter. Design-wise, that is. Does anybody else switch up their decorations based on the seasons?

There are a couple of parts of my island I consider rotating installations. As in, I change the decor with the seasons.

Here's one in the process of conversion. I know, it's kinda got a weird seasonal whiplash going on. In the summer, this little cafe spot was all decked out with fruit and the patch was watermelons and cauliflower (watermelon balls and mum cushions 🤣gotta make do with what you're given). Now it's all Halloweenified with pumpkins and spooky skeletons, etc. I dunno what post-Halloween autumn update will bring, so that's still up in the air, but when winter comes around I'm planning on turning this spot into a hot beverage stand and swap out the fruit trees for cedar and orange trees, since oranges are a winter fruit.

What do you guys have planned?

I have a few stands in between my nooks and Ables that I decorate seasonally. Although, most of my island is actually cherry blossom themed, I have a few patches of land left to farm seasonally and a little extra space for what I can think of for future updates.(:

unfortunately, time travellers have confirmed that the tent doesn’t become an igloo during the winter months, which i’m not super happy about since that was one of my favourite small details from new leaf :’c

i don’t currently have any plans for seasonal decorations; for halloween, i’ve places some ‘candy bowls’ out in front of rs + i’m planning on having pumpkins and some of the spooky items in almost every area of my island but that’s more about me really liking pumpkins and less about halloween since i’ll probably be keeping those out year-round aha,,

other than that, i don’t have any plans for any huge changes but i’ve been considering doing some seasonal decorating to my yard; i’d likely only do it for autumn and winter, though, since those are my favourite seasons in ac aha. i’ll also probably stick with leaving some seasonal decorations out around rs + i’m planning on having a seasonal stall in my currently non-existent flea market but other than that,, my island will probably look pretty much the same throughout the seasons c’:

I see. That's actually a huge bummer :T I loved igloos. They were so cozy.

I am sure this is the first time I have seen the fruit furniture displayed like this :) you have inspired me to put the fruit furniture near my campsite.
