Question about amiibo villager

I want to possibly sell Marina and kick her out with another amiibo. I know they fixed the glitch where if someone adopted a villager that was kicked out via amiibo, their plot of land would be messed up on their island. My question is, when Marina is in boxes and someone comes to invite her to their island, am I able to time travel on my game and not have it affect theirs? I just want to make sure before I sell her.

yes just let them adopt her and then marina's door should say something like 'I've moved out'
then it's ok to tt forward

Yes I do it all the time.. As soon as the person adopting her leaves you are free to TT without worry...
