Question about Amiibo Cards.

Weird question, might be in the wrong place.

I use the Animal Crossing site's checklist for keeping track of Amiibo cards, and usually buy my cards from eBay. However, when I was adding Stitches to my wishlist, I remembered something. Occasionally, I've seen certain Amiibo cards on eBay that weren't in the list.

Namely, I've seen Rosie, Stitches, and Goldie, wearing fisherman's hats and wielding tools like butterfly nets. I assume these are Amiibo cards that are exclusively sold with Amiibo festival, but I'm not sure. Are these particular types of cards also compatible with New Leaf: Welcome Amiibo? Like, if I used the Goldie card where she was wearing the hat, would I be able to invite her into my town, same as the regular Goldie card?

Yea, nothing wrong should happen. They have the same back look and stuff.

Yes, I can confirm 100% that it will work; I tried this with my amiibo festival Rosie, and she's moved in normally.

Okay perfect, thank you. I bought a lot of cards from a seller in eBay (a lot meaning one purchase containing a set number of predetermined cards, not a lot as in a bunch), and some of the cards I didn't want, but Stitches was in there and it would've been cheaper to buy it that way than to buy him individually. It didn't occur to me until after that the card was different.

Yes, it's quite lovely to get such popular cards automatically if you buy Amiibo Festival. Stitches and Rosie are precious to me and I don't have to spend a fortune on their cards.
