Question about adopting villagers

idk if ive made this thread before but im dumb so deal with it

I just adopted a villager from another town, so if i time travel to the next day, will the villager be in my town even if the person who i adopted her from doesn't tt? sorry if this is confusing;-;

As long as it says "move out" in the other person's town, you're good to go even if they don't TT.
