Quality of life improvements you’d like to see?

It would be really nice to change the background music to the music from previous games. The music in new horizons overwhelms me a lot and I’d like to listen to new leaf or even city folk songs again

This is actually my most wanted feature, it's not substantial to some but for someone like me I love AC music and it adds to the gameplay. I'd love to be able to hear my favourite songs from all games at certain hours, or at least pick WW music just for the nostalgia. I would love that so much.

Change some of the dialogue choices around. For multiplayer, online should be the first option. And why on earth when you want to demolish something is no the first option!? I’ve pressed that thinking it was the yes option cause I’m used to the top being the “yes” option and had to do the whole process with Tom Nook over again.

• Let me see all of the customization options before I craft something.
• Let me see up-close and 360 views of DIY items without being at a crafting table
• Let me be able to craft something in the exact colors I want it in originally. It’s annoying to have to quit out of the crafting menu and then have to re-enter the menu to customize items. Especially when you’re crafting things in bulk.
• Let me close the gate from my phone. I could do this in NL. Why not here?
• Let me see where visitors are on my map. It’s annoying not to be able to find people in my town.
• Have a visual indication that my tools are going to break like in botw. I wouldn’t mind them breaking so much if I had a heads-up and could prepare myself for it.
• I’m sure I’ll think of more later, but yeah other than that what everyone else has already said a million times.

We can buy medicine at Nooks Cranny instead of crafting it, so we should be able to buy fish food too. Digging up clams & crafting ONE AT A TIME is so tedious!!!

There is SO much!! Here's a summary:

• Ability to craft multiples of an item at once
• Ability to buy more than one NMT at once!!
• A cart system at Ables
• More house storage
• A SEPARATE storage for clothes!!
• Interior system that makes trades easier
• More clothing selections!
• Ability to pick how many of something we wanna buy at Nooks (ie. medecine, flowers, etc.)

• If we’re buying clothing maybe give us an option if we want it in our storage or our pockets. I want to buy some villagers clothes but I don’t want to run all the way to my house to get it.

Everyone said pretty much everything we’d love to have. Also, idk if the QOL improvements extend to the Nintendo app, but I’d like it if they showed message history of what everyone says currently on our island or visits.
I don’t want to look up from my phone and back or check the history via Nookphone in game and then back to my IRL phone just to respond ._.

I have been pretty much been liking almost everyone's posts so far because I agree with them all, but if this hasn't been mentioned yet...

Nintendo for the love of Nook PLEASE update the starter houses to the villager's actual houses at some point, PLEASE. I really don't want to cycle out Agnes, Zucker, and Mac just because they happened to move in first and get the starters.

Also since I think I only saw this once, more custom design slots please! I want to do so many things with other player's patterns and there's not enough slots to fit them all.

Being able to save during online multi-player sessions. So many times I lose progress
Bulk crafting
Separate pocket from tools and materials... Those alone take up so much space
Storage space. I feel like Nintendo could have separated clothing into a "closet" and have storage be dedicated for everything else

i want to be able to order more than 5 things a day from nook shopping!! it's such a pain when i want to craft a bookshelf but i need to use all 5 of my ordered items on books. i decided a couple days ago that i wanted to craft 3 stacks of books and 2 bookshelves but that's literally like 25 books and that would take at least 5 days to order everything- i got lucky and today timmy and tommy just happened to be selling books, so i bought like 50 just in case i needed more later, but IMAGINE the pain!

- Crafting from storage
- Tools not taking up inventory slots
- Some tool better than golden tools that is ACTUALLY unbreakable
- ABD app
- Shopping cart feature for Able's (that should fix the buying multiple things issue)
- The ability to either see villagers' location on the map, or to be able to call them
- Some kind of indicator on an item (maybe visible in storage) so you can tell if it's non-reorderable. And preferably distinguish between DIY non-reorderable and other non-reorderable.
- Some kind of indicator on an item (again, visible in storage maybe?) so you can tell if an item is customizable WITHOUT having to put it in your inventory and clicking customize on a DIY bench to check. A simple icon like the paintbrush symbol they have on the DIY menu would be fine.
- More custom design slots
- Isabelle should tell us which visitors are available each day

i forgot.. a way to either turn down or mute the background music... i want to be able to hear the radio/stereo whatever/whatever and what's around me if needed(like balloons), not have everything drowned out every time i move more than a foot or two away from the stereo.

YES! they keyboard on the app is such a good idea but it would be so much easier if you could see others messages on there too.

Let me write a bunch of letters and send them all at once instead of pick a person/villager, pick a postcard out, write the message, send the message, start over. I never send my villagers postcards anymore because it's such a pain.

Idk if anyone has said anything about this yet, it's kind of what thatveryawkardmayor said but basically, if I am holding something, it's not in my pocket. SO WHY IS IT IN MY POCKEEET (very small issue but still kinda annoying)
