PWPs you were surprised you liked?

Or alternatively, I guess, any decisions you made about a PWP that you ended up liking?

Today, I tore down one of two bridges I had, because it wasn't the right type. This left only one as a connection to that part of land. The villagers on that side, who seemed so isolated before, actually walk around the rest of town now. Strange result, hard to say if I'll make another bridge now. Maybe I'm just imagining it, though.

More fitting for the question: I tried out some illuminated PWPs (heart, tree, arch) in my other town, after thinking they looked ugly in the daytime. I didn't expect to like them so much, even with their drawbacks. In fact, I ought to replace a couple with something else, I think... Anyway, sorry if this is a clumsy post, or if this has been asked a lot before.

The boot statue. I didn't really think I'd like it but now I think it's super adorable.

I also took out a bridge because it didn't match the others but it turns out Chief's house was too close to remake it so I couldn't but I've come to really like just the two bridges. ^^

Hmm i had two bridges and i thought they where enogh but i decided to build a third one it was by far the best decision though none of the bridges match with my path they look nice i have the brick like red bridges i put the number 3 near my house and im really glad i did ^ - ^ makes it easier to get to places

im surprised by how much i like the campsite. its super cute, i like putting it in secluded places and decorating it with pattern stumps and flowers

The cafe
At first for me it was odd having it different it should have been better in the Main Street
But oh well
I do enjoy it on how I decorated
Because I feel like it's a forest cafe restaurant kinda feel to it

Hmm... probably the illuminated heart to be honest. At first, I wasn't going to put any perfect town reduction PWPs but later on I really started to like the look so I kept trying to implement it somewhere in town. I'm super happy with its placement since I put a wood bench in front of it so it now has a very nice atmosphere to it.

One PWP I fell out of love with is probably the log bench. I mean it looks really cute with the campsite and campfire but it looks so awkward when it has to be at least 2 spaces away from them. It becomes difficult to create that 'sitting around the campfire look'. I eventually took it out and replaced it with stumps.

It's a shame we're limited to 30 PWPs. I wish the bridges & permanent buildings didn't count towards it (or at least one of the three bridges since it's necessary but ah well).

The Black Cube Statue. I thought it would look too modern and stick out against all my trees and flowers. I was wrong, it looks awesome

The Zen bell, lovely sound, can't help but ping it every time I go by. The other bell looks pretty but has a less deep sound.

The face cutouts. I put one next to my witches house, and placed a Halloween witch on it. That led to putting one in my North pole area with a pic of Santa Claus. Then Snow White and Cinderella both needed one. Now I like them and all of my towns have at least one in them.

i kinda dont like the bus stop when i first saw it because it looks kinda dull and plain. but as time went by i kinda fell in love with its simplicity and i built it. tbh it really fits in a lot with my forest zen town and i love it so much now! kinda reminds me of the movie my neighbor totoro as well. another one i didnt like at first is the log bench but now it kinda fits into my town as well.

my flower clock-- i only added it because of the boost to beautiful town points, but i really enjoy it as it turns out. its especially nice having the flowers topped by snow but still in bloom during the winter. and the villagers make funny comments about this pwp sometimes too, like "what time does that say, half past Tulip?"
