These projects provide a variety of useful functions that encourage socializing, or further enhance the town. Projects with multiple designs cannot be remodeled; instead, they must be demolished and rebuilt in order to switch to another style.

The bench allows villagers and players to sit down around the town. If a villager is sitting on a bench, the player can sit down next to them and have a conversation. However, if two villagers are occupying the bench, the player will not be able to join them, but can still have a conversation with them.
