PWP Trick Question

I've been trying to get the Uchi PWPs, and I've been working on it for about an hour now, but no one has pinged for a PWP. It was either to talk or a catchphrase. My question is, if when you come out of the water and sneeze, does it effect whether or not you get a PWP ping?

Nah, it shouldn't. That animation is just there. It's like during the summer when you come out of your house and sweat; it has the same effect.

Yeah, I don't think the sneezing affects the probability of getting of a PWP, unfortunately. You also don't have to be diving/in the water, just in an area of town where no villager will see you for five minutes or so!

Nope, you, like me, just have bad luck. This worked every day for me. Now it's rare for me to get one.

No it doesn't effect it. Just make sure your uchi is outside. Know where they are likely to be and make sure no one else sees you before them. Empty pockets helps. I just saw on a tumblr post somewhere to dig holes around the villager and kind of trap them where they are before you go diving. Seems kind of harsh, but if you get desperate, might be worth a try.

Yup it's worth trapping your uchi near the beach. Full pockets are what you need. Fill them with flowers or shells so you villager can't ping you to buy or sell.
